I can think of two people very close to me who have started up businesses from scratch in the last five years. It has been a most fascinating time watching them both prosper. Both the guys, from similar backgrounds have come to the point they’re at from polar opposite paths. The first young entrepreneur – I know his parents very well and worked with one of them for years, before the lad was even born. This boy just had the dragon’s den make up about him. Buying in bulk supplies of snacks and sweets, he out sold the school tuck shop. Refusing university, he went into the online compliance and anti fraud. He knew how to out manoever his competitors early on. The other chap did do full degree course relant to business & marketing of it. He really knows his stuff from the inside out. No chancing. Having strong ethics and people skills will always win.
